I completed my Bachelor of Commerce and LL.B. at the University of Alberta and have practiced law in Edmonton since 1993. I also teach courses in the areas of civil litigation procedure and business law for Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton and the Bar Admission Course for new lawyers entering the Alberta Law Society. I also edit an insurance industry legal publication called the Insurance Report. I started as a lecturer and have now been a tutor for Athabasca University for a few years and greatly enjoy ‘meeting’ the interesting and busy people that make up our student body. As an aside, the first university course I ever took was an introductory financial accounting course with Athabasca University in the mid-1980's. It is great to be back!
